Mgr. Eva Novotná

Born in the Czech Republic. She has a degree in Singing from the Higher Academy of Musical Arts in Prague (AMU) and a Diploma in Merit from the Academia Chigiana in Siena (Italy).

Degree in Musical Teaching and Languages from the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Hradec Králové.

She has been a soloist of the Mozart Opera in Prague, the Karlin Theater of the Operetta in Prague, the “Disk” theater, of the “Cantores Praguenses” group, specialized in religious music (Mozart, Brixi, Schubert, Arthopheus, Ryba, etc.)

She has performed as a soloist with the Orchestras “Antonin Dvorák” of the Czech Philharmonic, the Symphonic Orchestra “Bohemia” (Mozart: La Betulia Liberat and Great Mass in C minor), the Orchestra “Brixi” of Prague (Mozart: Zaide), the Chamber Orchestra “Suk” (Bach: Passion according to Saint John), Symphonic Orchestra of Hradec Králové (Mahler: IV Symphony) and the orchestra “Virtuosos of Prague” (Vañhal: Stabat Mater), String Quartet “Haba” among others.

She has been awarded several competitions, including the International Competition “Antonin Dvorák” in Karlovy Vary.

She has been assistant director of Professor Jirí Chvála in the children’s choir of the Czech Philharmonic.

She currently lives in Spain, where he has participated as a soloist in the International Contemporary Music Festival of Alicante (premiering the Nocturne de Luís de los Cobos, with the Círculo de Madrid group), at the Segovia 20th Century Music Conferences and at the Festival of Contemporary Music of Salamanca. In 2002 she recorded Canciones Infantiles by composer García Laborda and for Spanish radio works by Jorge de Ortúzar and Luis de los Cobos. In 2006, during the festivities for the 250th Anniversary of the birth of W. A. ​​Mozart, she interpreted his Requiem, in several concerts, the Stabat Mater by Luigi Boccherini in Prague and the Stabat Mater by A. Dvorak in Dresden, Germany.

 Several composers have dedicated works to her, such as Flores Chaviano, “Orumba ma ibo oro”, premiered at the National Auditorium in Madrid and Sebastián Mariné, his song cycle “Cuaderno del Jardín”, with orchestral accompaniment.

She has participated as a teacher and performer in the AMEROPA International Festivals in Prague and CHAMBERart in Madrid since 2005, where in addition to recitals, she has performed with orchestra the Te Deum, the Stabat Mater and the Requiem by Antonín Dvorák, the Requiem by Anton Rosetti and the Mass in D major of Frantisek Brixi

She has sung in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Cuba, Monaco, Slovenia, Russia, Slovakia, etc.

  She has been a professor at the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid and is currently a singing teacher at the Higher Music Center “Katarina Gurska” and at the Municipal School of Music and Dance of Boadilla del Monte. Scientific consultant ad honorem of the UNESCO Chair.
